I have finally finished the seven sets of notecards that I wanted to get into my etsy store (click on my store to the right to get at them). I am uploading one per day this week. I have another 4 or 5 notecard designs drawn, but they still need to be digitized and printed etc.
I am printing all these out with my shiny new Epson R1900 printer. I have had a b/w laser printer for 4 years and have never had a color printer before. This one is just gorgeous. And HUGE. It can print up to 13" wide, so when I finally get around to doing some scrapbooking like I want to, I can print out 12" pages.
Anyway, I finished all my Christmas necklaces for the year. Seeing as how I have very little time and am very tired I only made four this year (most years I make more like 8).
This one, for my Mom, is made with 4mm glass pearls, firepolished drops and 15/0 seed beads. It is almost right out of a magazine (Beadwork, Feb/March 2007).
This one, for my Grandma, is made with 4 and 6mm firepolished beads and some Delicas. The pattern is essentially from "Step-by-Step Jewelry: Gifts for the Holidays 2007".
This one is also for my Mom. Very thin hexagon-shaped faceted garnets. Impossible to photograph--it looks all wonky, but it is very beautiful in person.

This one is also for my Grandma. Swarovski pearls, 4mm crystals, and some 11/0 Tohos. Beautiful Swarovski pendant.

I am busily working on more stuff for my etsy shop during my one free hour a day, and also trying to get all the Christmas stuff wrapped up. I am stupidly undertaking scrapbooks for each of the Grandparents so I need to get on that before last mailing date of December 11.
And the holiday portrait this year has to be delayed a couple of weeks as Johanna fell and has a bump on her head and a black eye that is lingering on...
