Reading: Getting things done

So, one of the first of the 32 things I wanted to work on was to whittle down my absolutely enormous to do lists. I have gotten very little done in the last six months or so and have been feeling kind of stressed about it lately. I kind of puttered around trying to figure out how I would fix the situation and happened upon the book "Getting Things Done", which I took out of the library. Well, the book is not amazing or anything, but did have some pretty good ideas. I spent two days reading it and compiling a massive written to do list (16 pages on those little legal-type pads), which I then typed into "now" and "someday" lists in Google Documents. Now I can keep track of all the little things and I have gotten at least 16 things done in the last couple of days, which is probably the most I have done in months. I am really, really liking the to do list in Google. I have a bad habit of losing and re-writing endless to do lists and they never really work. Hopefully this will make some difference.
