Ok, I have no idea how 3 months have gone by since posting. I am going to stop feeling bad about it, though. The last three months have been full of little sleep, a hyperactive preschooler, a fussy baby, teething, rolling over, crawling, pulling up, getting into EVERYTHING, and me trying to get anything done whatsoever.
So. why don't I not even bother trying to recap what has happened just yet and talk about now. I have started some of the garden plants for the summer: tomatoes, hot peppers, tomatillos, eggplant, watermelon, and herbs are all happily growing in my back cupboard under grow lights.
We have been working hard raking, raking, and raking the lawn to get it prepped to add some grass seed this weekend, hopefully before it rains on Sunday. We were thinking now that we have kids running around back there maybe we should have some semblance of a lawn... The one we have right now is hideously thin and pocketed so it is easy to trip and fall. It was crappy when we moved here, but then two years of completely ignoring it has made it even worse.
